Morning Ice Sessions
Morning Ice Sessions include 1.25 hours of ice time geared towards developing each player's individual skill with emphasis on power skating, puck handling, passing & receiving, and shooting.
Classroom Sessions
Classroom Sessions will review on-ice sessions and teach the rules and systems of hockey. During classroom we also will review each player's videotape analysis.
Fun & Fitness Sessions
Fun & Fitness Sessions are conducted each day to include stretching and flexibility exercises along with games that help to improve players' hand/eye coordination and agility. Players take part in fitness testing, and receive individualized fitness test results.
Videotape Analysis
Videotape Analysis is a major teaching tool at Top Dog. Ice sessions and instructional games are videotaped, reviewed, analyzed and broken down in the classroom so that each player receives specific and personalized attention.
Afternoon Ice Sessions
Afternoon Ice Sessions include 1 hour of on-ice instruction. Emphasis is on positional play such as forechecking, backchecking, offensive cycling as well as forward and defense responsibilities. Each day players have a short scrimmage as part of their afternoon session where players can implement their newly acquired skills under the guidance of Top Dog instructors.
Goaltenders
Goaltenders attending will follow the same camp schedule as all other players. Goalies will work with instructors during morning ice time to provide goalies the attention they need to develop their skills and self-confidence. Our emphasis is not only on fundamentals, but also to give each goalie time in the net to take pucks, practice their newly acquired skills and have fun.

Half-Day Hockey Programs
Half-Day Hockey Programs are ideal for the younger players who want to improve their basic hockey skills, yet may find a full day of camp too tiring. The half-day program is from 8:00am to noon. Each day consists of: 1.25 hours of ice, classroom, videotape analysis, and fun and fitness with a tournament game on Friday.
