Mite/Squirt Hockey Camps are ideal for hockey players ages 7-10* that want to improve on the basic fundamentals of hockey. Each day players have over two hours of ice time. Morning ice sessions is geared towards developing each player’s individual skill with emphasis on power skating, puck handling, passing & receiving, and shooting.

Afternoon ice sessions will emphasize game play and competitive scenarios with fun drills and competitives games, while developing athleticism and passion for the game. Each day players have a short scrimmage where players can implement their newly acquired skills under the guidance of Top Dog Staff.

Along will the other activities such as Track & Field Events, team building, classroom, videos and videotape analysis. The Top Dog Hockey staff will be available to assist with skate tying for younger players.

A typical day is between  8-9 am to 4-5 pm.

*This is an age recommendation.  If your 6 year old is a strong player, they are welcome to attend!  

Most mite camps run Mon- Fri, between 8–9 am and 4–4:30 pm, except on Friday, when camp ends anywhere from 1:30–3:00 pm. You will get a schedule emailed to you that is specific to the player's program about 7 to 10 days before camp.  

If you need an earlier drop-off or later pick-up, please get in touch with us. We can usually accommodate players from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 pm. At Top Dog, players are supervised throughout the day.
