The goal of the program:
Our goal is to develop each player's skills AND love for the game through challenging and FUN drills and games.

Practices & Games:
Practices will consist of:
-Game situation awareness
-Small area games
-Competition drills
-Station work

Games will consist of:
-3v3 half-ice games-- (4-6 Games)
-5v5 full-ice games -- (6-8 Games)

Dates*:

1st Half—Spring: Startup: Late March/Early April to mid-May. Plan on 14-16 hours of hockey each week, with practice and game days.

2nd Half—Late Summer/Fall: The team starts up again in late July/Early August and runs through late August/early September. Plan on 14-16 hours of hockey during the second half, with a practice day and a game day each week.

Additional info:
-Practices: 60-75 minutes
-Practices will be M-F (Start after 5:00 pm)
-5v5 & 3v3 games (Start after 5:00 pm)

Is the Squirt Team right for me? Yes, if you are looking for:

No Tryouts - Great for players looking to get skating reps and puck touches in a fun and challenging environment.
Hockey games are close to home. Most games are played in the south metro area—no overnight or out-of-town tournaments.
The practices will be challenging yet FUN and engaging skill and gameplay. We also include 5v5 and 3v3 games. Games will be fast-paced, allow for lots of puck touches, and teach players to learn to make quick decisions.
